Look how our school makes a difference!

Hello Global Scholars! On this page, we will show how we change the environment, as well as how you can change it. We hope that you will learn something new.

Donation Activities

Our school actively supports people and animals in need through different food donation campaigns and charity activities. These actions help local communities, encourage students to help others and teach responsibility and empathy.

Pełna miska dla schroniska

We are giving food to the shelter. The action is called "Pełna miska dla schroniska". Students collect food and products for animals. Thanks to this campaign, animals receive better care, food and support from the local community.

Help Week

“Help Week” is organized at our school. Each day of the week focuses on bringing different food products, such as pasta, rice or canned goods, to support people in need. The campaign encourages cooperation and teaches students the importance of helping others.

Donation Box

A donation box is placed at the school entrance where students and staff can leave food or other essentials to support people in need. The collected products are later delivered to organizations and families that require help.

Leftovers & Eco System

At our school, food waste is managed in an organized and responsible way. The system helps reduce waste, supports local farms and protects the environment.

Food For Farms

Leftover food that can still be used is sent to a farm, where it is given to pigs. This helps reduce food waste and supports local farmers. Instead of throwing away all leftovers, the school reuses part of the food responsibly.

Organic Waste

Bones and other hard leftovers cannot be used as animal feed. These are separated and thrown away as organic waste. This type of waste can later be composted or processed in an eco-friendly way.

Eco-Friendly Actions

Thanks to this system, our school produces less waste and takes care of the environment. Students learn about recycling, sustainability and responsible waste management.

Food, Care & Nutrition

Our school combines healthy nutrition with strong community support. We provide balanced meals every day while also ensuring that students and families in need receive additional food assistance. We also promote flexible dietary choices and healthier eating habits.

Free Meals at School

Soup is available free of charge for all students. In addition, the school finances lunches for students from low-income families, ensuring that everyone has access to a healthy meal during the school day.

Food Sharing Initiative

Every month, students bring food products that are collected and shared with people in need. This initiative encourages generosity, cooperation and support for the local community.

Holiday Meal Program

Any remaining food is distributed to children from low-income families, helping reduce food waste and support families in need.

Flexible Food Choices

Although we do not have a separate vegetarian menu, students can always request a meat-free option when receiving their meals.

Healthier Eating Policy

From September, more meat-free meals will be introduced as part of national healthy eating guidelines, promoting a more balanced diet for students.

Fish & Meat-Free Days

Every Thursday the main ingredient is fish, while Fridays are completely meat-free, often including dishes such as pasta with strawberries or dumplings with cheese.

Our Newest Project

On May 8, our Global Scholars team organized expert tables. Students from our school came up to us and took part in the quizzes we had prepared.

Expert Tables

The quizzes were based on surveys we had conducted earlier. We divided the stands into three sections, each representing a different topic.

Topics We Covered

• Food waste

• Climate change versus agriculture

• Climate change and food transport

Quiz Activities

To help students, we created posters containing the information needed for the quizzes.

Students could then choose a question related to a given topic.

The event went really well — many students and teachers participated in our quizzes, and most of them answered correctly.

School Garden

Our school garden is a special place where students can learn more about nature, plants and healthy food. It helps us understand how important ecology and sustainability are in everyday life.

Growing Plants

Students take care of different plants, vegetables and herbs in the school garden. They learn how plants grow, how to water them properly and how to protect the environment.

Learning About Nature

The garden is also used during lessons. Students can observe nature, insects and different species of plants. This helps make learning more practical and interesting.

Eco-Friendly Project

Our school garden supports eco-friendly activities and teaches students responsibility. It shows how small actions can help protect the planet and create a healthier future.
